Joshua is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Functional Medicine Practitioner, with a primary focus on treating Lyme disease and Autoimmune disorders.  He has a passion for integrating traditional and modern techniques to guide treatment strategies that best suit the patient’s needs.  While the spectrum of disorders Joshua’s treats is vast, his emphasis on the basics remains the same:  good quality rest/sleep, exercise, whole foods and finding opportunities to fall deep into the present moment. 

He holds a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a Masters of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM).  He is also certified in Dr. Ellen Cutler’s ECM Method, which addresses food/environmental sensitivities, organ specific detoxification, and enzyme therapy.  He believes that evaluating for sensitivities, a plant based diet and creating individualized herbal treatment protocols is the key combination for addressing chronic inflammation and illness. 

Beyond his professional pursuits, Joshua finds joy in traveling, experiencing new cultures, and connecting with diverse communities. He is also an avid Tango dancer, finding beauty in the rhythm and harmony of movement.
